Filming Blog The Second Day

This weekend me and my group members filmed at one of our houses. Filming took place on February 23rd, 2020. We were filming her part of the movie. We didn't start filming until four thirty because she did not get off of work til four. Filming only took around half an hour. This was much shorter than we expected. It was good however because we had time to go home, eat dinner, and finish our school work. We prepared all of our equipment before hand. This included charging the camera before hand and knowing how to use the equipment before hand. This is important because last class one of our group members actually cut his hand a little bit while trying to open up the tri-pod because he didn't know how to properly work it before. Now that we took the time to familiarize ourselves we did not have any issues during the filming process. Me and my other group member filmed the group member whose house we were at. We finished getting her part of scenes one through five. This included the part where everyone is waking up and getting out of bed. In this case our actor had to clumsily roll out of bed and fall off. We had to re-shoot the shots of her rolling out of bed because she kept laughing. It was pretty amusing filming because we've never acted before and our acting skills were put to the test.We filmed multiple shots of her doing each of the frames on our planning sheet. The planning sheet was a good outline for what we wanted to do. We also had shots that included her pets. They wanted to play so at the beginning we could not get very clear shots of them. Then we gave them treats to help them settle down for the camera.
