Filming Blog

Today is February 20th, 2020. Currently my group members and I have not started filming. This has proven to be a difficult task for us to arrange. We are all busy people and have extracurricular activities to do or jobs. Something we all have to do is our homework. One of my group members stays after school for Chess Club. I stay after school for environmental and my other group members has two jobs. All of these activities happening on different dates and different times has made it tricky finding a day we can all film together according to everyone’s schedule. We have found that some of the dates on our schedules collide. The first day we all plan to film is February the 22nd, 2020. This date was suggested by one of our group members because everyone necessary for the filming process will be available. Since filming will take place in the morning everyone will have a few hours to spare before continuing on the activities they will do throughout the day. Our goal is to be able to film scenes one through five. A different approach will be taken however to make our filming process easier. Also with a smaller chance of needing a reshoot. We will however only film the parts one of our group members is in. We figured that if we go to their house one day and get all of their scenes done then it will be more efficient. We live pretty far distances from each other. We will save less time and won’t waste gas having to travel back and fourth to each other’s homes. The scenes all start out at each other’s homes so we plan to film each group member individually on the days that we film.  Filming by this method also allows us to ensure we have all the footage needed and we can reshoot if needed. If we went from one house to another and realized needed to reshoot something from the house we just left it would take a big toll on our filming process. Scene one includes a zoom in of the alarm clock with the sound of it going off. Scene two includes my group member getting out of bed then walking to their bathroom. Scene three includes them trying to brush their teeth. Scene four includes them walking back to their room, attempting to dress themselves. Scene five shows them walking to their kitchen and saying hello to their pets. This picture provided is the setting for where some of these scenes will be taking place. They are my group members bedroom and is where they will be filmed waking up from.
